  1. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil over high heat. Season the water generously with salt.
  2. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add butter and melt until bubbly and light golden. Reduce heat to low, then add olive oil and garlic. Cook 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
