Mici Italian, a fast-growing, family-run fast food chain based in Denver, Colorado, will introduce its first store in Arizona, scheduled to open in June this year. This location will be the family brand’s first franchised location. Mici launched its national franchise program in 2019.
The new Mici Restaurant is located at 5498 South Power Road Suite 101 Gilbert, AZ 85295. Construction work is currently underway to bring the modern yet comfortable feel of Mici Restaurant to Phoenix.
Mici will be located in a new building across from the Majestic 8 cinema, south of Power and Ray. The Gilbert store will be the second to feature the brand’s recent update with an all-new look. Restaurant with an area of 1700 sq. ft. will have 40 seats and special pickup and delivery points, as well as offer delivery and catering.
The ninth and newest location joins a successful line of family owned and affordable Italian eateries that specialize in authentic Italian recipes using natural, unprocessed, pure ingredients.
The menu features Mici’s all-natural, handmade pizzas in a variety of combinations, including family favorites such as DiGirolomo (named after the family’s great-grandfather) seasoned with olive oil, nitrate-free pepperoni, pepperoncini, gorgonzola, and mozzarella; and The Vela (named after Miceli’s nieces Sofia and Francesca) with olive oil, family-style sausage, ricotta and mozzarella. The pizza is available in 10″ and 16″ sizes, with self-catering options and a gluten-free crust.
Pasta offerings include traditional spaghetti and meatballs, including a marinara by matriarch Miceli Rosali and a family recipe meatballs; Tortellini alla Miceli, Patriarch Jerry’s favorite dish, with creamy Parmigiano-Reggiano sauce, Parma prosciutto and green peas; plus other family favorites like creamy pesto and hearty cortonese, a Tuscan meat sauce for penne pasta.
The menu is complemented by an array of fresh salads, while Dolce-Mici offers handmade ice cream from Villa Dolce Gelato, as well as authentic Italian cannoli from New Jersey’s famed La Rosa’s patisserie, known as the “King of Cannoli” in the United States. The delivery radius is yet to be determined, but they estimate that 21,000 households will enter the zone. Mici Italian also offers catering for large and small events, casual or formal, for business or pleasure.
